How much does it cost to get from Yerevan Airport to the city?

Yerevan is one of the more affordable capital cities to reach from its airport. The distance is short (12 km), and transport options run from a 300 AMD bus seat up to a pre-booked private transfer.

App-based taxis (best value)

GG Taxi and Yandex Go both show the fare before you confirm the ride. To central Yerevan (Republic Square, Opera, Cascade), expect:

Ride-hailing prices move with demand, so check the app when you land rather than trusting a figure printed months earlier. These are the prices locals pay. The fare varies slightly based on time of day and demand but stays within this range.

Terminal taxis

Drivers outside the terminal quote their own prices. Starting offers for tourists are routinely a large multiple of the app rate. Open an app first so you know what the ride is worth, then negotiate from there — or just use the app, which is simpler and cheaper.

Airport bus (N201)

The cheapest option at 300 AMD per person, per Zvartnots' own transport page. It runs every 30 minutes from 07:00 to 22:00 and takes cash in dram only. Route N100 covers the same trip for 500 AMD and accepts a QR ticket or a Visa/Mastercard, running every 30 minutes from 06:50 to 22:00 and hourly overnight. It goes to Republic Square and runs during the day roughly every 20-30 minutes. The trade-off is time (30-45 minutes) and it is not comfortable with heavy luggage.

Pre-booked private transfer

A sedan transfer costs $15-30 USD, a minivan $25-45. You pay for convenience: a driver with your name, a confirmed vehicle, and no waiting. For families or groups, the per-person cost becomes comparable to app taxis.

Destinations beyond central Yerevan
