What affects the price
Traffic is the main variable. Jaipur's roads congest heavily during morning (9-11 AM) and evening (5-8 PM) rush hours. The drive that takes 20 minutes at night can take 40+ minutes during rush hour. Uber and Ola prices increase with demand.
Festival surges are significant. During Diwali, Holi, Jaipur Literature Festival (January), and Pushkar Camel Fair season, Uber/Ola surge pricing can double or triple the base fare. Pre-paid taxi and private transfer prices remain more stable.
Toll charges: The NH48 highway has a small toll that may or may not be included in your fare. For Uber/Ola it is included. For pre-paid taxis, ask at the counter.
