Jaipur International Airport (JAI) — Getting to the Pink City

Jaipur Airport is approximately 13 km southeast of the old city center (Pink City). A pre-paid taxi costs INR 500-800 (about EUR 5-9). Uber and Ola work well here and typically charge INR 300-550 (EUR 3-6). A pre-booked private transfer runs EUR 15-28 with meet-and-greet and guaranteed vehicle. Jaipur's airport has two terminals — Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights. Both are modern and reasonably well-organized. After baggage claim, you exit into an arrivals hall with a few currency exchange counters, ATMs, and SIM card vendors (Airtel, Jio, Vodafone).

Uber and Ola both work at Jaipur Airport and are the best value for most travelers. Prices are shown upfront in the app, and you can pay by card. Pickup is at a designated area outside arrivals.
