Late arrivals at Bari Airport need a plan, because the airport's transport pages do not state any night service.
What the airport publishes
The operator, Aeroporti di Puglia, lists a train from the airport station, a shuttle bus to the central railway station, municipal bus line 16, a regional airport bus and taxis. It says the shuttle departure times depend on the flight schedule and gives the journey as 25 or 30 minutes. It does not show train or bus timetables as text, and it states no night hours.
What is not published
We did not find last-train or last-bus times, or taxi rank hours, on the airport's pages, and this guide does not guess them. Do not assume a train, a bus or a shuttle will be waiting after a late landing. Ask the railway and the bus operators for current times before you travel.
Taxis at night
The airport publishes official fixed taxi fares by area, all surcharges included, for example 25 EUR to the central railway station and 20 EUR to Palese. The page shows no tariff date and does not say whether a night supplement applies, so confirm the fare with the driver before you set off.
The journey
Our route database estimates about 15 minutes and 10 km to Bari City Center. This is an estimate, not a live figure. Tell your accommodation your flight number and expected arrival.
Pre-booked transfers
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly. Give your flight number and address at booking, and check your booking confirmation for where to meet and how delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there. This plan does not depend on train or bus hours.
At the airport
Stay inside the terminal while you arrange a ride, and ask airport staff for help before you walk out alone with your luggage. A short delay to confirm a safe arrangement is better than a rushed choice at the kerb.
