Both options take you from MCZ to central Maceió in roughly 29 minutes by road according to our route data (approximate). The difference is how much is settled before you arrive.
Taxi at the airport
The operator's page lists taxi services at the ground floor of the passenger terminal, with listed hours of 10:00 to 02:30. Fares are not published, so agree how the price is set before you leave, and check that the vehicle fits your luggage. If you land outside the listed hours, do not assume a taxi is waiting.

Ride-hailing apps
The fare is shown in the app before you confirm and can vary with demand. You need mobile data, and the pickup point is not described on the operator's page, so follow the app's instructions.
Pre-booked transfer
You book before you travel and receive a confirmation with the meeting point and driver details. The price is fixed at booking, and the live quote on this page shows it. Confirm at booking what is included, such as waiting time. A transfer does not depend on the listed taxi hours.
When each makes sense
A taxi suits you if you land within the listed hours and are happy to agree the price at the stand.
A ride-hailing app suits you if you have mobile data and want to see the fare first.
A pre-booked transfer suits you if you land outside the listed hours, travel with family or heavy luggage, or head to the northern coast, where journeys are longer and a price fixed in advance helps.
