Arriving at Maceió Airport late at night

If your flight lands at Maceió Airport late in the evening or overnight, check the listed hours before you rely on any service.

What the operator's page says

The operator's page lists taxi services at the ground floor of the passenger terminal from 10:00 to 02:30, and a bus service to the city bus station departing from in front of the airport from 05:00 to 22:00. Between 02:30 and 10:00 the page lists no taxi desk, and after 22:00 it lists no bus.

Your options at night

Taxi: Available within the listed hours. Fares are not published, so ask how the price is set before you leave.

Ride-hailing apps: They may be available, but the operator's page does not describe a pickup point. Check the pickup instructions and fare in the app. Waits can be longer at night, and you need mobile data.

Pre-booked transfer: If included in your booking, a driver meets you as described in your confirmation, and the price is fixed at booking. This is the option that does not depend on the listed taxi or bus hours. Check the meeting point and the contact number in your confirmation before you fly.

Practical tips

• Save your accommodation address on your phone
• Charge your phone before landing
• Keep the transfer contact number within reach
• Avoid offers made inside the terminal from people you cannot identify
