How much does it cost to get from Ibiza Airport to your destination

Last updated: April 2026

Ibiza Airport is close to most of the island's main areas, so fares are generally reasonable. Here is what each option actually costs.

Price breakdown by transport type

Bus (Line 10)

  • Airport to Ibiza Town: EUR 3.50
  • Frequency: Every 30 minutes in high season (daytime only)
  • Last service: Approximately midnight in summer; earlier in shoulder season
  • Only serves: Ibiza Town. No direct bus to San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, or beach resorts.

Metered taxi

Ibiza uses a zoned fare system. The meter rate applies within zones, but most airport journeys fall into published zone rates:
  • Airport to Ibiza Town: EUR 15-22
  • Airport to Playa d'en Bossa: EUR 12-18
  • Airport to Figueretes: EUR 14-20
  • Airport to San Antonio: EUR 22-32
  • Airport to Santa Eulalia: EUR 28-38
  • Airport to Cala Llonga: EUR 30-42
  • Airport to Portinatx (north): EUR 50-65

Night supplements (from 10 PM), Sunday surcharges, and public holiday surcharges apply on top of zone fares.

Pre-booked private transfer

  • Sedan to Ibiza Town or Playa d'en Bossa: EUR 20-30
  • Sedan to San Antonio: EUR 28-38
  • Sedan to Santa Eulalia: EUR 32-45
  • Minivan (up to 7) to Ibiza Town: EUR 35-50
  • Minivan to San Antonio or Santa Eulalia: EUR 45-65

Prices are fixed at booking. No surprises for night supplements.

What drives the cost

Distance is the primary factor, but Ibiza is small. The furthest common destination (Santa Eulalia) is only 20 km away.

Time of day adds meaningfully in Ibiza. Night supplements from 10 PM, Sunday rates, and bank holiday rates are all applied and are clearly marked on the rate card displayed in taxis. These supplements can add 20-30% to the base fare.

Season demand does not change the metered fare but does affect availability. In peak summer, taxis are in very short supply at night, which can push people toward pre-booked transfers at any price.

Group size changes the per-person economics quickly. Four people splitting a EUR 30 taxi to San Antonio pay EUR 7.50 each — less than a bus fare each if that bus existed.

The value perspective

The bus at EUR 3.50 is an exceptional deal for solo travellers going to Ibiza Town in the daytime. Outside that specific use case, it does not help.

Taxis are well-priced given the short distances. A EUR 20 taxi to Ibiza Town is not expensive in an absolute sense.

Private transfers are not significantly more expensive than taxis for the main routes, and they eliminate the queue and availability uncertainty. For peak summer arrivals, the premium is often worth it.
