The airport states it is 30 km from the centre of Natal. Our route database (estimates, not live) gives these figures for destinations with active routes from the airport: Natal city centre about 24.5 km, 23 minutes (the figure depends on the point used in the city); Genipabu about 27 km, 25 minutes; Maracajaú about 59 km, 56 minutes; Pipa about 94.5 km, 88 minutes; São Miguel do Gostoso about 108 km, 102 minutes; Galinhos about 151.5 km, 145 minutes; Porto de Galinhas about 354 km, 300 minutes.
Bus
Line R runs between the São Gonçalo do Amarante terminal and Natal, via the airport. The airport page does not give the fare or timetable, so check with the operator.
Taxi
Taxi services are in the arrival and departure halls. An accredited service in the arrivals hall is listed as available 24 hours. Agree how the fare is calculated, and the total, before you start.
