Both options take you to your accommodation. The difference is what you know before you travel.
The taxi
The taxi stand is on the arrivals level, to the left as you leave the building. The airport page gives an indicative fare of about 40 EUR and about 30 minutes to the centre of Turin. The page shows no date for these figures, and it does not say what happens outside the centre, so confirm the fare with the driver before you set off. Taxi apps are mentioned as a way to book.

Pre-booked private transfer
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly, and the price is confirmed at booking. Use the quote tool on this page for your exact route and vehicle. Check your booking confirmation for the meeting point and for how flight delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there.
The airport bus as a third option
The airport bus costs 7.50 EUR one way (plus 1 EUR on board) and takes 45 to 50 minutes. It suits travellers going to Porta Nuova or Porta Susa. The page shows no tariff date, so check the current fare.
How to choose
Choose a taxi if: you want to leave straight away and your destination is in the centre, so the indicative fare applies.
Choose a pre-booked transfer if: you want the arrangement settled before you fly, you arrive late, you travel with children or many bags, you are a group, or your destination is outside the centre. Request a child seat at booking and give the child's age and weight, because no official statement on child seats in taxis was found.
Piedmont Tourism Mobility Bonus
The airport's train page mentions the Piedmont Tourism Mobility Bonus, a 30 EUR digital wallet that gives a 50 percent discount on train, bus, taxi and parking, used through taxi apps. Check the official terms before you rely on it.
