Turin Airport with Children and Family

The ride from Turin Airport into the city is about 30 minutes by taxi according to the airport page, and it comes at the end of a tiring journey.

At the airport

The operator's transport pages give no information on baby rooms, strollers or play areas, so none are described here. The airport has an accessibility page, which we did not read, so we do not describe accessible services.

Getting to your accommodation with children

Airport bus: There is a "Caselle Family" ticket for 2 adults and 2 children up to 17 years at 23 EUR. The one-way fare is 7.50 EUR, plus 1 EUR on board, and a return is 11 EUR. The page shows no tariff date. The journey takes 45 to 50 minutes, with departures every 15 or 30 minutes.

Taxi: The stand is on the arrivals level, to the left of the exit. The indicative fare to the centre is about 40 EUR, with no date shown, so confirm it with the driver.

Pre-booked transfer: the vehicle goes to your door. Tell your provider the number of passengers and bags so the vehicle is large enough. Check your booking confirmation for the meeting point.

Child seats

No official statement on child seat rules or availability in taxis was found. If you need a seat, request it when you book a transfer and give the child's age and weight, then confirm it in your booking confirmation. Do not assume a taxi will have one.

Practical points

Carry water, snacks and any medicine in your hand luggage. Keep passports and your accommodation address within reach. If one adult can stay with the bags while the other finds the driver, arrivals go more smoothly.
