Late arrivals at GRJ need a plan, because the airport's transport pages publish very little about night services.
What the airport publishes
The official ACSA transport page lists taxi and shuttle companies and no public transport. The operator lists four taxi and shuttle companies, one of them with a 24/7 contact line. We do not name them or print their contact details; the current list is on the ACSA page. It gives no fares and no operating hours for the other companies.

What is not published
Night service: the 24/7 contact line is the only night-related item published. The page does not say what that line covers, whether a vehicle is guaranteed for a late flight or what it costs, and we do not assume it. We found no official statement on how many taxis wait at night. Do not count on a taxi or shuttle after a late landing without confirming it with the company in advance.
Taxis at night
The page publishes no official tariff, and it gives no distance to the city. Agree how the fare works before you set off, and keep your accommodation address saved on your phone.
Pre-booked transfers
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly. Give your flight number and address at booking, and check your booking confirmation for where to meet and how delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there. Use the quote tool on this page for your destination.
The bottom line
At night, choose the arrangement you confirmed in advance over one you hope will be available. Keep your phone charged.
