A late landing at Pula Airport needs a plan, because the shuttle bus follows the flight schedule rather than a fixed all-night timetable.
The airport shuttle
The airport operator's shuttle runs between the airport and Pula bus station (platform 16). The airport to bus station departure leaves 30 minutes after the aircraft lands. The ticket is EUR 6.00 one way, by credit card or in cash in euros. The service depends on the flights and changes from day to day, and the airport states that the transport plans are subject to change when flight times change.
Late departures
The airport's page notes that on some days the shuttle has a 22:15 or 22:30 departure, depending on the flights. That is the only night-time detail it gives. No general night service is published, so do not assume a late bus. Check the shuttle page for your date before you rely on it.
Taxis at the exit
Taxis are ready immediately as you leave the airport, next to the bus terminal. The airport publishes no official taxi tariff, so agree the total with the driver before you set off. The page does not say how many taxis are available at night.
Pre-booked transfers
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly. Give your flight number and your accommodation address at booking, and check your booking confirmation for where to meet and how delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there. Use the quote tool on this page for your destination.
The bottom line
If a shuttle departure is listed for your flight, it is the low-cost choice. If your landing is late and no departure is listed, choose a taxi at the exit or a transfer you confirmed in advance.
