Late arrivals at Acapulco Airport need a plan, because the published taxi hours stop at 23:00.
What the operator publishes
The airport's operator, OMA, lists four authorised taxi and transport companies for the city-airport-city service. Each is shown with hours of 05:00 to 23:00 and with cash and credit card as payment methods. The operator says that cost and type of service depend on the company hired, and it does not publish a fare table.

What is not published
We did not find a statement about taxi availability outside those hours, or about public buses from the airport. For that reason this guide does not say that any ride is available after 23:00 or before 05:00. If your flight lands outside those hours, or is delayed past 23:00, do not assume a taxi will be waiting.
The drive
Our route database estimates about 15 minutes to Acapulco Diamante, 29 to the Costera and Zona Dorada, 32 to the traditional centre, 45 to Pie de la Cuesta and 54 to Barra de Coyuca. These are estimates, not live figures. Plan for a late check-in and tell your accommodation your flight number and expected arrival.
Pre-booked transfers
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly. Give your flight number and address at booking, and check your booking confirmation for how delays are handled and where to meet. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there. This is the plan that does not depend on the hours of the taxi desks.
Flight status
The airport's website offers a flight status page for arrivals. Check it before you leave for the airport and again after you land, and tell your driver if the arrival time changes.
At the airport
The airport administration offices, on the east side of the passenger terminal, hold the lost property office and are open Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 17:30. They are not a night service, so do not count on them after dark.
The bottom line
At night, choose the arrangement you confirmed in advance over one you hope will be available. Keep your phone charged and your address saved, and write down the name of the company and the driver that you have booked. If you land after 23:00 and have no confirmed ride, stay inside the terminal while you arrange one, and ask airport staff for help before you walk out alone with your luggage. A short delay to confirm a safe arrangement is better than a rushed choice at the kerb.
