Late arrivals at Menorca Airport need a plan, because the bus timetable is shorter than many flight schedules. This page sets out what the airport publishes and what you can check.
The bus
Line 10 connects the airport with the Mahon bus station and costs EUR 2.80 one way. The airport page lists two timetables. From 1 June to 30 September, buses towards Mahon are listed from 5:55 to 0:15, hourly from 22:15 onwards, with a gap between 21:25 and 22:15. From 1 October to 30 May, buses towards Mahon are listed from 5:55 to 22:15, hourly from 19:55 onwards. Buses towards the airport end at 21:15 in summer and 19:45 in winter. Do not count on the bus for a late landing, and confirm the schedule for your date on the airport page.

The taxi
Taxis leave from the signed rank at the terminal. The airport's fare sheet lists night hours as 21:00 to 06:00, with a higher night/holiday column. Examples of indicative night/holiday fares: Mahon port area EUR 20.16, Es Castell EUR 22.76, Sant Lluis EUR 23.41, Alaior EUR 27.31, Fornells EUR 49.41, Ciutadella EUR 68.91. The sheet says all prices are approximate. We found no airport statement on how many taxis wait at night, so allow time in case there is a queue.

A transfer gives you a confirmed price and a defined arrangement before you fly. The live price for your route is shown on this page. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver waits as stated in your confirmation. Check how delays and flight changes are handled when you book, and keep the contact number from your confirmation within reach.
Distances to plan for
From the airport, Mahon is about 8 km (18 minutes), Es Castell 7 km (17 minutes), Sant Lluis 5 km (15 minutes), Alaior 12 km (22 minutes), Es Mercadal 25 km (35 minutes), Ferreries 30 km (40 minutes) and Ciutadella 41 km (51 minutes). These are route estimates, not live.
Practical tips
- Save your accommodation address on your phone.
- Ask your accommodation about late check-in before you fly.
- Charge your phone and carry some water.
- Use only the signed taxi rank and ask for a receipt.
- If you are heading to a town far from Mahon, such as Ciutadella, tell your accommodation your expected arrival time, since the journey alone is about 51 minutes by road.
