How much it costs to get from Antalya Airport to your destination

Last updated: April 2026

Antalya Airport serves a wide stretch of the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Your transport cost depends almost entirely on how far your hotel is from the airport. Here is an honest breakdown.

HAVAŞ bus to Antalya centre: TRY 100-150 (USD 3-4)

The cheapest option, but only useful if you are going to Antalya city centre. The HAVAŞ bus runs from the airport to the Otogar (central bus station). The journey takes 40-50 minutes. It runs during the day with reduced evening service. It does not serve resort towns.

Taxi prices (approximate)

Taxi fares depend on the meter for short trips or negotiation for longer ones. Prices in Turkish lira fluctuate with exchange rates. These are approximate ranges:

DestinationDistanceTaxi fare (approx)
Antalya centre13 kmTRY 600-900
Lara Beach8 kmTRY 400-700

Belek30 kmTRY 1,000-1,500

The wide ranges reflect negotiation outcomes and time of day. Late-night fares tend toward the higher end.

Pre-booked transfer prices

Transfer prices are typically quoted in USD or EUR, providing more stability:

Shared shuttle transfers

Some companies offer shared shuttle or minibus services, where you share the vehicle with other passengers heading to the same area. This costs less than a private transfer but involves stopping at multiple hotels, which can significantly extend travel time.

Shared shuttle prices are typically 40-60% of private transfer rates. A shared shuttle to Belek might cost USD 15-20 per person, but the ride could take twice as long.

What affects the price

Distance is the primary factor. The coast is long, and destinations range from 8 km to 190 km from the airport.

Vehicle type matters. A sedan carries 2-3 passengers and luggage. A minivan carries 4-6. A minibus carries 8-16. Larger vehicles cost more per trip but less per person for groups.

Time of day mainly affects taxi negotiation. Late-night taxi drivers ask for more. Transfer prices are generally the same.

Season has some impact. Peak summer season (July-August) sees slightly higher demand and prices for all transport. Shoulder season (May-June, September-October) is slightly cheaper.

Currency fluctuation affects lira-based costs (taxis, buses). The Turkish lira has been volatile. Transfer prices in USD or EUR are more predictable for budgeting.

The value calculation

For Antalya centre: The HAVAŞ bus at TRY 100-150 is the clear budget winner. A taxi is reasonable. A transfer is a small luxury.

For Belek (30 km): A pre-booked transfer at USD 30-45 is competitive with a taxi and more predictable. For a family of 4, the per-person cost is USD 8-11.

For Side (65 km): A transfer at USD 50-70 is nearly essential. Taxis are expensive and less reliable for this distance.

For Alanya (120 km): A private transfer at USD 80-120 is the standard approach. The distance makes taxis impractical and expensive. A shared shuttle can reduce cost but adds 30-60 minutes to the journey.

Tipping

Tipping is appreciated but not required in Turkey. For transfer drivers, rounding up or adding 10% is generous. For taxi drivers, rounding up to the nearest convenient amount is standard.
