The airport lists three public lines: line 3 (Puerto del Rosario, Caleta de Fuste, Las Salinas), line 10 (Puerto del Rosario, Morro Jable) and line 16 (Puerto del Rosario, Gran Tarajal). The taxi

Taxis leave from the signed rank at the terminal. The airport advises taking a taxi only from the rank, avoiding drivers who offer rides from other areas, and asking for a receipt in case of complaint. The airport page does not state how many taxis wait overnight, so allow time in case there is a queue. Agree how the fare is worked out and the expected total before you start. Distances to plan for

From the airport, Puerto del Rosario is about 14 km (24 minutes), Caleta de Fuste 15 km (25 minutes), Betancuria 28 km (38 minutes), Corralejo 30 km (40 minutes), Tuineje 35 km (45 minutes) and the Costa Calma and Morro Jable area 60 km (70 minutes). These are route estimates, not live.

Save your accommodation address on your phone.
Ask your accommodation about late check-in before you fly.
Charge your phone and carry some water.
If you are heading south, tell your host your expected arrival time, since the road journey alone is over an hour.
