At Poznan-Lawica Airport you can choose between city buses, taxis and a pre-booked transfer. The airport is approximately 7 km west of the city centre, so the choice depends mostly on luggage, group size and arrival time.
When a taxi is the right call
For one or two travellers with moderate luggage, a taxi from the arrivals hall is straightforward. The airport recommends taxi corporations that cooperate with it, and says they can park directly at the arrivals hall without a time limit. Taxis take you to your door. We did not find an official flat fare for the airport run, so ask the driver how the fare is calculated before you set off, and confirm that a meter will be used or that a price is agreed.
When a pre-booked transfer makes sense
Groups: a larger vehicle can be arranged in advance for the whole group, at a fixed price quoted at booking (see the live From price on this page).
Child seats: request the seat when booking and confirm your child's age and weight. Do not assume a taxi at the rank will have one.
Destinations outside the city: from Poznan airport we serve places such as Swarzedz, Lubon, Tarnowo Podgorne, Kornik and Gniezno. A fixed price avoids guessing the cost of a longer ride.
Late arrivals: a pre-booked transfer is arranged in advance. Confirm the meeting point and delay handling at booking.
Meeting your driver: if meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as described in your booking confirmation.
The bus alternative
ZTM city buses serve the airport: the airport lists lines 159 and 148 and the night line 222. The airport estimates 20-25 minutes from the city centre. A ZTM time ticket for up to 45 minutes costs PLN 7, and a 90-minute ticket costs PLN 9 (reduced fares are 50 percent). The bus does not take you to your door, so add the walk or a change at the other end.

How to choose
Pick the bus if you travel light and your destination is on the route. Pick a taxi for a short, spontaneous ride to your door. Pick a pre-booked transfer when you want the price, the vehicle size and the meeting arrangements settled before you fly.
