Getting from Warsaw Modlin Airport to Warsaw city center

The arrivals area is compact with a few shops, an ATM, and a small cafe. Free Wi-Fi is available but inconsistent. Once outside, you are in a relatively remote area north of Warsaw. The surroundings are not urban, and if you have not arranged transport, your options are what you find at the terminal.

Bus + train combo: A local bus connects the airport to Modlin town, where you can catch a Koleje Mazowieckie train to Warsaw. The total cost is about PLN 20-25, but the journey involves a transfer, potential waiting, and takes 60-90 minutes total. Workable but not comfortable after a long flight.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminal. A metered ride to central Warsaw costs PLN 150-250. Make sure the driver uses the meter or agree on a price beforehand. Some drivers at small airports try to overcharge.
