If you need a child seat, request it when you book a private transfer, give the child's age and weight, and confirm it in your booking confirmation. If you plan to take a taxi, ask the driver whether a suitable seat is available before you set off, rather than assuming.
The airport bus
The airport bus connects the airport with Aviles, Gijon and Oviedo and runs roughly every hour, every day, between about 06:00 and 00:00. The Aena page does not say anything about luggage space or strollers on board, so ask the bus operator if this matters to you. The bus can be a good fit if your stop is on its route and your children are happy to follow a timetable.
Taxis and larger groups
The official taxi tariff has a supplement of EUR 0.11 per km by day and EUR 0.12 per km at night for vehicles with more than 6 usable seats (Decree 50/2026, read on 2026-10-27, not guaranteed). Tell your provider the group size and the bag count at booking, so that the vehicle is large enough.
Late arrivals
The bus stops at 00:00 and the night taxi rate applies in the early hours. With tired children after a late landing, a transfer confirmed in advance is usually the calmer choice. The live price to Oviedo city is from EUR 98. For other places, use the quote tool on this page.
