A late landing at Asturias Airport needs a plan, because the airport bus does not run all night.
The airport bus
The airport bus connects the airport with Aviles, Gijon and Oviedo, and the services to Aviles and Gijon also stop at Piedras Blancas and Salinas. It leaves the airport roughly every hour, every day, between about 06:00 and 00:00. If your flight is shown on the arrivals board, a departure can be delayed by up to 15 minutes. The Aena pages publish no bus service after 00:00, so do not assume one. For the early hours, the published option is a taxi at the airport rank.
The night taxi tariff
The official tariff (Decree 50/2026 of 13 July 2026, taxes included, read on 2026-10-27) has a night and holiday rate of EUR 0.85 per km or part of a km, a minimum fare of EUR 5.21, and waiting time at EUR 21.96 per hour. For vehicles with more than 6 usable seats, add EUR 0.12 per km. We cannot guarantee that it is current on your travel date.
The night rate applies on weekdays from 22:00 to 07:00, on Saturdays from 15:00, on 24 and 31 December from 15:00, on Sundays for the whole 24 hours, and on local, regional and national holidays. So a Saturday afternoon or any time on a Sunday is already on the night rate.
Pre-booked transfers
A pre-booked transfer is arranged before you fly. Give your flight number and your accommodation address at booking, and check your booking confirmation for where to meet and how delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the driver meets you as stated there. The live price to Oviedo city is from EUR 98. The live price to Gijon city is from EUR 82. The bottom line
If you land well before 00:00, the bus may work. Later, choose a taxi at the rank or a transfer you confirmed in advance.
