Landing late at NBJ calls for a plan made before you fly, because no night transport information is available from the operator.
What the airport publishes
The portal of the new airport lists flight information, a terminal map, check-in, security, baggage, lounge, parking and restaurant sections. It has no section on ground transport. When we tried the parking and contact pages on 27 Oct 2026, they returned "page not found", so the site was evidently still being built.

What is not published
We found no hours, no frequency and no statement on whether taxis, buses or shuttles wait at night. Do not assume that any of them does. We also found no official statement on lighting, security or staffing of the arrivals area after dark, so we say nothing about them.
General advice for a night arrival
This is general advice, not a sourced claim. Arrange your onward journey before you leave home. Tell your accommodation your flight number so that they know when to expect you. Keep their phone number and address available offline. Agree any fare before you get into a vehicle, and do not hand your luggage to anyone you did not arrange in advance.
A pre-arranged transfer
A transfer booked before you fly means a driver is expecting your flight and the price is confirmed at booking. Our route database estimates about 37 km and 77 minutes to Luanda City Center; these are estimates only, so allow generous time. Use the quote tool on this page for your destination. Give your flight number at booking. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, follow the instructions in your confirmation.
The bottom line
When no night service is published, a plan you made in advance is better than one you hope will be available.
