Zhangye Ganzhou Airport: taxi or pre-booked transfer

Both options take you from YZY to Zhangye city, about 25.5 km and roughly 27 minutes by road in our route data (approximate). The difference is how much is settled before you arrive.

Taxi or other vehicle on arrival

We could not find an official description of a taxi stand, its operating hours or a fare table at YZY, so we cannot tell you what you will find at the kerb. If you take a taxi, agree how the fare is set before you get in, ask whether it covers the whole car, and make sure the driver has understood your destination. Keep the hotel name and address in Chinese characters and the hotel's phone number.

Bus

We could not verify a current airport bus, its route, timetable or fare. If you plan to use one, confirm it with the airport or your airline before you travel, and do not plan your arrival around it without that confirmation.

Ride-hailing apps

We could not verify pickup rules at this airport. Check the app and your phone connection before you depend on it.

Pre-booked transfer

You book before you travel and receive a confirmation with the meeting point and driver details. The price is fixed at booking, and the live quote on this page shows it for your destination. Confirm at booking what is included, such as waiting time and luggage.

What changes the decision

Time of day: for a daytime arrival, you may be comfortable looking at what is available on the day. After a late landing, a defined meeting point is more predictable than an unverified stand.

Language: if you do not read Chinese and your driver does not read Latin script, a pre-arranged destination avoids misunderstanding about the address.

Group and luggage: a standard taxi may not take a family with several large cases. Say how many people and bags are travelling when you book.

Destination: our route data currently lists Zhangye city centre. For sights or hotels outside the centre, enter the address in the quote form and check availability.

When each makes sense

A taxi on arrival suits you if you are flexible, have a working phone connection, and will confirm the fare method before you get in.

A pre-booked transfer suits you if you arrive late, travel with family or heavy luggage, do not read Chinese, or want the price and meeting point settled in advance.

What we could not confirm

We could not confirm any official fare, taxi hours, bus service or ride-hailing pickup rules at YZY. We prefer to say so rather than guess.
