Travelling with children is easier when seats and space are arranged before you land.
Child seats
We could not confirm an official rule on child seats in Brazilian taxis, and a taxi at the stand may not carry one. If your child needs a seat, bring your own travel seat or request one when you book a transfer, giving the child's age and weight. A seat is only provided if it is confirmed in your booking. Check the current Brazilian requirements before you travel.

Vehicle size
A family with several large suitcases and a stroller may not fit in a standard taxi. For a larger group or more luggage, book a larger vehicle in advance and note the stroller and luggage at booking.
Taxi, bus and ride-hailing
The airport page lists a taxi stand at the terminal passenger entrance, ground floor, open 24 hours. Bus line 5601 stops in front of the terminal, but with small children and luggage it may be less practical, and its listed departures are limited. The ride-hailing pickup point is at the end of the south wing, after the van stop.
Tips for families
- Request a child seat when booking, stating age and weight
- Keep water and snacks within reach for the ride
- Save your accommodation address on your phone
- Book a vehicle with enough space instead of relying on what is available at the stand
