This page gives the figures that are published and says plainly where none exist.
Distance
The operator states that the airport is at Port Reitz, Changamwe, about 10 km from Mombasa city centre. Our route database also holds rough estimates for the coastal areas: about 10 km and 25 minutes to Nyali Beach, 12 km and 30 minutes to Bamburi Beach, and 30 km and 60 minutes to Diani Beach. These are estimates for a reference point in each area, not official figures, and real journeys vary with traffic.

Official taxis
The operator publishes no taxi tariff and no fares, so we do not estimate one. Its stated principle is that the fare is per vehicle, not per person. Agree the total before you travel, confirm what it covers and ask for a receipt.
Public transport
The operator's "Buses, shuttles and transfers" section carries no route, time or fare information, so there is no public fare to compare.
Pre-booked private transfer
The price depends on the destination and the vehicle, and it is confirmed when you book. Our live price to Mombasa City Center is from EUR 24. The live price to Nyali Beach is from EUR 24. Other destinations in our database include Bamburi Beach, Shanzu Beach, Mtwapa, Tiwi Beach, Diani Beach and Watamu; use the quote tool on this page for your exact route.
What to add up
Compare the total for your whole group and your luggage, and the time, not only one fare. Ask whether any extra charge applies for luggage, late arrival or waiting time, and have the answer in writing where you can. Because a fare is per vehicle, a taxi or transfer can be good value for a group. If you pay in a foreign currency, exchange rates and card fees apply, so ask your bank before you travel.
The bottom line
No official tariff is published, so agree the fare per vehicle in advance or fix the price by booking.
