Hatay Airport (HTY) is some distance from Antakya and Iskenderun, so a late landing needs a plan made before you fly. This page sets out what we could confirm, what we could not, and a simple way through.

What is published

Public-sector pages list airport shuttle services, taxis and rental cars as the ways to reach the airport. They do not give a night timetable for the shuttle, and we found no official statement on how many taxis wait late in the evening or at night. So we cannot promise that a particular option will be there when a late flight lands.

The distance matters

Published distances vary between about 25 and 27 km to Antakya and between 30 and 45 km to Iskenderun. Our route database estimates about 22 km and 33 minutes to Defne, about 17 km and 26 minutes to Belen, about 41 km and 62 minutes to Samandag and about 53 km and 80 minutes to Dortyol. These are estimates, not live figures. At these distances, being stranded at the airport is a bigger problem than at an airport next to the city.

Shuttle services at night

The regional development agency says shuttle services exist, but we found no current timetable or fare on an official page. Check the operator's schedule against your flight, and have a second option ready in case the last run has gone.

Taxis at night

Taxis are listed as a way to reach the airport. If you take one, agree whether the fare is metered or fixed, and the total, before you set off. For a long run late at night, the agreement matters more than for a short one.

Arranging the ride in advance

For a late landing, the most reliable step is a pre-booked transfer. The price is shown live on this page and confirmed at booking. Give your flight number when you book, and check the booking confirmation for the meeting point and how delays are handled. If meet-and-greet is included in your booking, the confirmation says where the driver meets you.

Before you leave the terminal

Have the address of your accommodation written down, in Turkish if you can.
Keep your booking confirmation or contact details where you can open them without data.
If your plans change, tell whoever is meeting you before you leave the terminal.

The bottom line

We could not confirm a night shuttle or taxi availability. For a late arrival, plan on a pre-booked transfer or a taxi whose fare you agree first.
