This page gives the figures that are published and says plainly where none exist.
The taxi starting fare
The airport's taxi page states: "The starting fare from the airport is AED 25". It publishes no other taxi figure. For the metre rates it refers to the official taxi operator's website without giving a number or a date, and we found no official fixed tariff to the city centre, so we do not estimate a taxi total. The final fare depends on the metre, the route and the traffic.

Airport buses
Line F55 (to EXPO Metro Station) and line N55 (to the Ibn Battuta bus and metro stations) each run every 30 minutes. The airport bus page publishes no ticket prices and no first or last departure, so we give none. The airport website has a metro page that we did not read, so we say nothing about metro fares.
Pre-booked private transfer
The live price to Dubai Marina is from EUR 38. The live price to Downtown Dubai is from EUR 38. Our route database estimates about 23 km and 35 minutes to Dubai Marina, and about 35 km and 53 minutes to Downtown Dubai. Prices depend on the destination and the vehicle, so use the quote tool on this page for your exact route. The price is confirmed when you book.
What to add up
Compare the total for your whole group and your luggage, and the time, not only the fare for one person. A taxi fare is per ride, not per passenger, so it can be good value for a group. If you pay in a foreign currency, exchange rates and card fees apply, so ask your bank before you travel.
The bottom line
Agree how the fare works before you get in, and remember that AED 25 is only where the taxi fare starts. A pre-booked transfer has its price confirmed in advance.
