Last trains from Birmingham International to New Street run around 11:15-11:30 PM on weekdays and Saturdays. Sunday last trains are earlier (around 10:30 PM). If you land after 10:30 PM, you might not make it through baggage claim in time.

A transfer (€25-42 to center) ensures your driver is waiting. The driver tracks your flight, so delays don't matter. This is the stress-free option for late arrivals.
Buses — limited
Late-night buses are very limited. The 900 service doesn't run late. Don't rely on buses after 10 PM.

If you're going to the NEC or Resorts World
Good news — the NEC and Resorts World complex is right next to the airport. If you have an event there, it's walkable (15 minutes) or a £8-12 taxi. Even late at night, this is easy.

If you're arriving very late and have an early connection:

- Genting Hotel at Resorts World — premium, 5-minute walk
- Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport — popular, short shuttle

Landing before 10:30 PM: Aim for the last train. It's fast and cheap.
Landing 10:30 PM-midnight: Taxi from the rank or Uber. Both will be available.
Landing after midnight: Pre-booked transfer gives you certainty. Taxis should be available but aren't guaranteed.
Staying near the airport: Book an airport hotel. Walk there, sleep, and deal with onward transport in the morning.
