A late-night ride to Marco Island is roughly 40 minutes on mostly empty roads. The drive itself is easy, but you need a car to make it. Do not assume you can figure it out on arrival — book the transfer before you fly.

The airport area is safe. Naples is a low-crime city, and the airport is in a quiet part of town. The concern is not safety — it is simply having a ride. Being stranded at a closed terminal with no transport options is the real issue to avoid.
